Size Guide
Choosing the right size for your Marzapori dress ensures both comfort and confidence. Because our collection features a variety of silhouettes—from structured evening gowns to flowy bohemian maxis—fit can vary between styles. This guide will help you take accurate measurements and interpret the specific size charts provided on each product page.
Understanding Our Sizing
Most Marzapori dresses use standard letter sizing (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and sometimes 3XL). However, the fit is not uniform across all items. Some styles are designed with a slim, body-skimming silhouette, while others offer a more relaxed or flared shape. Always refer to the specific size chart on the product page of the item you are interested in, as measurements for bust, waist, hips, and length are tailored to that garment's design.
How to Measure Yourself
To find your best fit, you need two types of measurements: your body measurements and the garment measurements listed on the product page. Compare your body measurements to the garment's listed dimensions to determine the right size. Keep in mind that manual measurements may vary slightly (approximately 0.4–1.2 inches).
Use a soft measuring tape and keep it snug but not tight. Stand naturally without pulling in your stomach.
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline, usually just above the belly button.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
- Length: If a length is specified, measure from the shoulder seam down to the desired hemline, or refer to the garment's total length listed on the product page.
Interpreting Product Size Charts
Each product page includes a size chart with specific measurements for bust, waist, hips, and sometimes length. These numbers represent the garment's dimensions, not your body's. For example, if a dress has a bust measurement of 36 inches and your body bust is 35 inches, the dress will have a little room. If your body bust is 36 inches, the fit will be very snug or potentially tight, depending on the fabric's stretch.
Note on Stretch: Some styles, like our beaded square neck gown, are made with stretch-knit fabrics that offer more flexibility. Others, such as structured crochet or beaded dresses, may have less give. Check the
